Appearance[]
Yuichi is a man who has dark blue hair and rather thin hair. He's rather large in terms of body size and is seen wearing a white suit with only one button tied. He wears a brown shirt with red buttons underneath and a bear shaped tie.
Background[]
Shiohara Yuichi is the husband of Shiohara Remi and is the director of Shirokuma Hospital. He's in good terms with Murasaki Kojiro, whom he went to the same highschool with and Sato Keisuke, whom he treats like a brother.
He died at age 42 (three years prior to the original timeline) in the events of "Umi wa Sono Nazotoki wo Nozomu no ka?".

Role in the "Umi wa Sono Nazotoki wo Nozomu no ka?"[]
In "Umi wa Sono Nazotoki wo Nozomu no ka?" Yuichi is one of the passengers invited to the Yotsuba cruise ship event. He came to the ship with his wife, Remi. When Yuichi heard that both Kojiro and Keisuke were killed in the trip, Yuichi panicked because, following the pattern, he had a feeling that he would be next.
Yuichi later became the last victim in the trip. He was killed by Keisuke with a gun.
Role in "Nazokake (novel adaptation)"[]
Yuichi plays the same role in the novel adaptation of Nazokake.

When Yuichi and Kojiro were seventeen years old, Yuichi brought up the topic of adoption. Kojiro asked where that topic came from and he replied saying he wanted to adopt Keisuke who was still six at the time. He was bullied because he was poor, but Kojiro mentioned by the time they were adults, Keisuke would be able to earn money on his own.
Keisuke came into the picture and halted the conversation, and as the topic changed, he said to the two that he wanted to go to the zoo again.
