Akatsuki Makoto is a recurring character in Logicalism categorized under the Kisetsu no page.
Appearance[]
Makoto has short wavy green hair and blue eyes. He's usually seen wearing a green vest over his Akari Academy school uniform (brown tie and pants, and a long sleeved cream shirt). It's mentioned in "Sakasama no Kami-sama" by Rokurogi Reika that he resembles neither of his parents.
Most of Makoto's costumes have him wearing a vest over him.
Background[]
Akatsuki Makoto is the son of Akatsuki Kanau and Akatsuki Sakurako; whom is a representative director of the Akatsuki Group. His younger sister is Akatsuki Mai. His father passed away when he was younger from sickness.
Makoto is a modest, mature, straightforward boy but he’s often put out by his sister and his friend Shirakawa Kaoru’s wildness. Although he doesn't notice it himself, he's not a very good singer.
He attended Tsukimizaka Academy; where he befriended Nishimori Aozora and eventually grew to like her romantically. After the events in "Umi wa Sono Nazotoki wo Nozomu no ka?", he transferred school to Akari Academy like his sister.

Role in Umi wa Sono Nazotoki wo Nozomu no ka?[]
In "Umi wa Sono Nazotoki wo Nozomu no ka?" Makoto attends the Yotsuba cruise ship along with his mother, sister, and friend Nishimori Aozora. He, along with Mai is said to be rather distant with their mother during the cruise; and spends rather quite some time with Mikami and Shirakawa Haruka. Makoto is the one who's responsible for deciding the guest room's flowers which later became a vital key on figuring out the culprit.
Role in Tsukimizaka Gakuen Tsuki Yuurei no Seisatsu[]
Makoto is the "semi main character" in "Tsukimizaka Gakuen Tsuki Yuurei no Seisatsu". He along with Aozora were able to see Ochi Aska; and were both trying to find a way to get her to move on to the afterlife. Makoto thought since the idea of suicide was removed, Aska must've been murdered by someone. He thought that by finding out who the culprit was, Aska would be able to move on.
He tried to find out more about the "culprit", and along the way Makoto befriended Aozora.

Kaoru told Makoto the situation he was in with Yoshino earlier before he went to school; after hearing the story, Makoto could only comment that he and his butler seemed really good friends.
They later heard a few people whispering about the two of them; saying "Kaoru has no idea when he'll offend Makoto and be shoved off by him". Although Kaoru warned them; Makoto was fine with it saying he was used to it by now, and that they weren't completely wrong.
Mai, who came from the primary section interrupted their conversation. Kaoru greeted her saying primary students weren't allowed there. He then gave a riddle to Mai, but she took it very lightly and thought it may be for children; in which Kaoru responded that as young as she was, she's making him cry. Kaoru later received a call and had to excuse himself. Mai had something she wanted, and Makoto asked if Mai was okay with Kaoru leaving. She said it could wait.
Later that day when Yamabuki Otoha finally came back home, Makoto greeted her; saying he was afraid he'd be with him (Kaoru). Otoha responded by saying everyone his age is horrible, and although "upsetting", Makoto said he's normal. Putting everything aside, Makoto asked how many paintings she'd finished that week.

Kaoru told Makoto how he fell in love at first sight one day, and he was very enthusiastic about her. Makoto on the other hand was rather surprised and asked if the girl he was talking about was "an older woman with a cold gaze and yellow hair" (Otoha), and Kaoru replied saying it was a girl with long dark hair and a cold gaze.
Makoto told the story of how Kaoru fell in love with the "girl who has long dark hair" from Hokaze High School, and Aozora no doubt thought that the girl was Kuromiya Akira. She mentioned that she'd be lonely if Akira ever gets a boyfriend.
Makoto then moved really close to Aozora, which triggered Ruka (Aozora's other personality) to step in and push him away. Ruka said she wasn't comfortable hijacking Aozora's body, however Makoto said it'd be troublesome for him if he couldn't get to her easily. He explained that if possible, he wanted to go out with Aozora; and Ruka responded saying he should say it to 'Aozora' and not Ruka. So long as he doesn't cheat on her, Ruka didn't seem to mind.

Makoto spotted Aozora when he was walking with Mai and Kaoru on their way to a cake shop. It turns out everyone knew each other, and Makoto suggested they all introduced themselves. Makoto interrupted Kaoru and Aozora's introduction by calling out Ruka, saying he wanted her to take over Aozora's body for a while.
After they'd finished introducing themselves, Mai mentioned the cake shop they were all planning to go to was closed, so everyone decided to go home. She told Makoto she wanted to go home with Akira, and Makoto stayed with 'Aozora' (at the time, she was still Ruka) who demanded an explanation.
