Shirakawa Kaoru is a recurring character in Logicalism categorized under the Kisetsu no section.
Appearance[]
Kaoru has short messy cream hair and blue eyes. He's usually seen with his light brown Akari Academy uniform; before the events of Haru to Aki (b) he's usually seen with his vest, however after the event Kaoru is seen without it because he lent it to Kuromiya Akira.
His most notable feature is his ahoge. It's been pointed out by Akira that he resembles 'the man who saved her' (Haruka) a lot. This statement was proven again by Hiro, who claimed that Kaoru looked like a splitting image of Haruka.
Background[]
Shirakawa Kaoru came from a very wealthy family; the son of Shirakawa Kazuha and Shirakawa Kaho, and the younger brother of Shirakawa Haruka.
On the day of the condo fire, Haruka sneaked away from their house; and since then Kaoru thought he'd lost his brother on the fire. Growing up as a child, he mentioned it felt like he was an only child.
Currently enrolled in the senior high section of Akari Academy, Kaoru's the life of the party but he can get carried away and be shocked by Akatsuki Mai, guarded against by Akatsuki Makoto and spanked by Yamabuki Otoha. He's is also in good terms with Makura Maxi, though Maxi is convinced Kaoru was only being nice to him because of sympathy. After Kaoru laid eyes on Akira for the first time, he fell madly in love with her to the point of considering transferring schools to Hokaze Highschool.

Role in "Nazo Kake Kaitou to Kakikake no Kaitou"[]
In "Nazo Kake Kaitou to Kakikake no Kaitou", Kaoru's friend Maxi consulted him when he received a letter from a thief, which he thought should've been addressed to someone else. The two later investigated and entered the gallery which belonged to the Yonezaka family, where they met a girl named Yonezaka Kurumi.

Haruka asked permission from his father to go and play at Ayato's place, but his father forbid him to do so. Kaoru comforted him saying eventually their father'll open up and see how good Ayato is. He later wanted to show Haruka a writing he'd just done. Haruka patted him on the head and said Kaoru's a good boy.
From time to time Haruka visits Ayato's place and one night Kaoru caught him sneaking off to Ayato's place. He told Kaoru to keep it a secret from their father and left. Kaoru liked the songs his brother play so he wished him a safe trip.

Kaoru told Makoto the situation he was in with Yoshino earlier before he went to school; Makoto could only comment that he and his butler seemed really good friends. They later heard a few people whispering about the two of them; saying "Kaoru has no idea when he'll offend Makoto and be dumped by him". Although Kaoru warned them; Makoto was fine with it saying he was used to it by now, and that they weren't completely wrong.
Mai later joined in the conversation and Kaoru greeted her saying primary students weren't allowed there. He then gave a riddle to Mai, but she took it very lightly and thought it may be for children; in which Kaoru responded that young as she was, she's making him cry.
Kaoru later received a call from a former employee of his, Otoha. He left the group and went to the pet shop, to see what was wrong. When the shop keeper asked if Kaoru was Otoha's little brother, Kaoru instead said he was her boyfriend. Irritated, Otoha left the shop and as Kaoru caught up to her, he said he did what he did because he knew it would irritate her.
She slapped Kaoru on the face and as Kaoru went home; he saw Akira from the window of his car.

Kaoru told Makoto how he fell in love at first sight one day, and he was very enthusiastic about it. Makoto on the other hand was rather surprised and asked if the girl he was talking about was "an older woman with a cold gaze and yellow hair" (Otoha) and Kaoru replied saying it was a girl long dark hair and a cold gaze.
Later with a flower in his hand, he asked Akira to go on a date with him.

Kaoru was able to convince Akira to go on a date with him and they ate at a restaurant. He asked what Akira wanted to order, and she answered she's good with just water. Kaoru said it was fine, since he always eats for free there (as he was the sponsor's son)
As the two chatted, Akira asked if he an older brother. He responded saying he did, but he passed away when he was younger. Akira on the other hand told him that she'd lost her parents, and her older sister as well.
The two left the restaurant and as Kaoru asked where she lives, a flower pot nearly hit Akira; though she was saved immediately by Yoshino. Kaoru lent Akira her jacket and asked if that happens often, and she denied.

Kaoru, Makoto, and Mai were headed to a cake shop, and Mai seemed rather angry at Kaoru. Kaoru apologized for standing up on Mai the other day and promised to buy her as many cakes as she wants in the cake shop. Makoto later spotted Aozora, and it turns out everyone knew each other. Makoto suggested they all introduced themselves.
Kaoru commented on Aozora, saying he didn't know Makoto has such a cute friend. Their brief conversation however, was cut off by Makoto. Later, Akira told Kaoru that she'd forgotten to return his coat that he'd lent on their date the other day. He said it was fine because it was a good excuse to meet up again.
Once the formalities were over, Mai mentioned the cake shop they were all planning to go to was closed, so everyone decided to go home.
