Akatsuki Kanau is a character in Logicalism categorized under the Kisetsu no page.
Appearance[]
Kanau is a man with messy white hair, and pale violet shade eyes. He's seen with a brown vest with golden buttons, long pants of the same color, and a white long short underneath.
When Kanau was younger (17 years old) he's usually seen with a light blue sweater over his school uniform, and his school tie on top of it. He wears a different shoe for each foot.

Akatsuki Kanau was the Senior Managing Director of the Akatsuki Group. He is the younger brother of Haizumi Nozomu, is the husband of Akatsuki Sakurako and father of Akatsuki Makoto and Akatsuki Mai.
During his high school days, Kanau attended Tsukimizaka Academy. He's usually seen in the mystery club along with Sakurako, Mikami, and Shimada Shimako. When he was at that age, it's said that his wife had already been decided for him and attended the same school as him; though he'd never bothered to look her up. When he did meet Sakurako though, he fell in love with her at first sight and somehow became Mikami's rival in the process.
It's said that Kanau doesn't have a very healthy condition and so he'd passed away when he was only 25 years old.

Role in Yuuhi Iro ni Somaru Nazotoki[]
Kanau is only mentioned in the story "Yuuhi Iro ni Somaru Nazotoki" and played no major role. He became a topic of a conversation between Mikami and Shimada Shimako as the two tried to catch up with things. When Shimako asked if Mikami had been in touch with Sakurako, he mentioned Kanau had recently passed away, adding that he'd always been sickly.

Although Kanau was engaged with Sakurako and attended he same school, they never formally met each other until Sakurako visited him one day and offered her answer to Kanau's question of why "1+1" being 2. Kanau later visited her more often as he'd fallen madly in love with her.
Sakurako one day asked if he had a crush on anyone. Kanau answered saying he liked her a lot, though that didn't seem like the answer she was looking for.
After school Kanau came by and asked Sakurako to go home together; however only Mikami was there. Mikami saw how Kanau and Sakurako was talking the other day, and asked what the two were talking about. After Kanau explained that he was to marry Sakurako, Mikami left and said he hated him.
Sakurako came to Kanau one day and asked him to marry her without asking why. She said it was okay even if he hated her for it and cried as she questioned why she had to be an Akatsuki. Although Kanau claimed that he wasn't very smart, he knew that she was only doing it to protect someone.

Kanau was talking with Sakurako one day, until Mikami suddenly challenged a game of cards with him as Shimako and Sakurako watches. Although Mikami was able to memorize several of the cards, Shimako switched their places knowing he'd do just that, and he lost the game.
Kanau on the other hand was able to remember the scratches and dents on the cards and won the first round of the game.
